An interesting site popped up in my Facebook feed the other day that occupied 20 minutes of my time watching two interesting YouTube videos.
Never did I realize that that international borders carry so much complexity with them, and that traveling to a country isn’t as cut and dry as it seems.
There are three takeaways from the videos, as mentioned from Curiosity.com:
- Two types of borders exist: enclaves and exclaves
- Borders can be subjective, especially in obscure areas (…and even depends on where you front door is!)
- Countries with no governments, and their surrounding countries can have a very difficult time determining where the border is.
