Thank you for supporting me by visiting the sites below. All of the products and services I post here I fully recommend, support, or have for myself. I’d never recommend a product that I don’t support or have, and always pass along the best deals to my readers. Some of these links earn an affiliate commission, however I fully recommend any services or products I post here or anywhere else on this website.
To keep this website and the reviews current, this website generates income in two ways:
- Advertising through the Boarding Area network. These ads are placed in select places throughout the site, and change depending on on Boarding Area criteria. These ads are not run through myself, and are not condoned directly by me.
- Credit cards links and approvals. I only post the best offers on this website, and if you click on a credit card link, and are approved, I will receive a commission.
This website’s primary purpose is to share the travel knowledge I learned, and review the products and services that make the passion of travel what it is for me. If you click on any advertisements and credit card links, of course, I am most appreciative and thankful. Your support will improve this blog in function, design and content, and I hope you’ll continue to read The Forward Cabin for years to come!
Travel safe,
Jamie

When traveling in Europe, there’s no easier way to get from one country to another than by train. To avoid having to book on various different websites, and the issues of one country’s train system vs. another, book on Rail Europe. You’ll often find good discounts, and it’s a one stop shop for tickets that can normally be challenging to purchase, with so many countries on the continent.
Expert Flyer is the best way to find award availability, seat availability, seat maps, airline schedules, routings, and rules. Essentially, this is like the information the airlines see, but is ordinarily difficult to find on your own. Expert Flyer is a subscription service, but if you’re looking for the ways to find the availability, and know the information the airlines see, this is it. Especially, if you’re looking for award availability, or seat availability, this is the best way to do it.
Applying for credit cards affects your credit cards, and it’s always good to know what your credit score is. Credit Sesame offers free credit score checks.
USAA is by far the best insurance company, and I personally have accounts with them. While it doesn’t directly impact travel, or miles and points collecting, having good auto-insurance is vitally important for rental car trips and the personal property that you take with you. While USAA does restrict membership to military families, if you’re eligible to receive the benefits, there is no better company to work with.
With so many different award programs, airlines, hotels and car rental companies, it’s difficult to remember login information for each website, and the point balance you have in each program. Award Wallet keeps track of those balances for you, and allows you to view your balances in one concise format.
