I knew reserve flight attendants existed, but never really thought much into how their system works or what their day usually looks like. It’s a little too much “pins and needles” for me not to have a somewhat complete schedule for a week, but without these reserve folks, regularly scheduled flights wouldn’t be able to happen. AirTran is merging with Southwest, but it still gives a unique view into what it’s like to be a reserve flight attendant.
