Here’s their cocktail menu:
Big Apple
Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka, Doc’s Draft Hard Apple Cider, Yellow Chartreuse, Miracle Mile Celery Bitters
This refreshing combination of flavors from near and far showcases the diversity of flavors and ingredients you’ll find in New York City’s top restaurants and bars.
Tomcat Collins
Barr Hill Reserve Tomcat Gin, Lemon Juice, Honey Syrup, Champagne
Our house Tom Collins is prepared with Tomcat barrel-aged gin sweetened with honey, and a splash of sparkling wine instead of soda.
Third Martini
Barber’s Gin, Channing Daughters Vervino #1
Chef Dan Barber, author of The Third Plate, is renowned for his farm-to-table cooking. He is behind this New York gin, which happens to pair perfectly with the botanicals in Christopher Tracy’s new wine-driven vermouth.
Medford Stuyvesant
Berkshire Mountain Distillers Ragged Mountain Rum, Lime Juice, Deep Mountain Grade B Maple Syrup, Dutch’s Colonial Cocktail Bitters
Ragged Mountain Rum, produced in the style of New England’s historic Medford Rum, is the base of this Northeast Daiquiri sweetened with maple syrup and spiced with New York bitters.
Manhattan Beach
Tuthiltown Manhattan Rye Whiskey, Greenhook Ginsmiths Beach Plum Gin Liqueur, Grapefruit Juice
This twist on the lesser-known Blinker cocktail is named after the Beach Plum liqueur mixed to harmonize the bready rye and piquant Grapefruit.
Blue Door
Johnnie Walker Black Label Blended Scotch Whisky, Myers’s Rum, Benedictine, Pastis, Lemon Juice
This twist on the Modern cocktail balances earthy malt whiskey with fruity dark rum and a hint of star anise.
Spanish Harlem
Siete Leguas Reposado Tequila, Orange Juice, Tempus Fugit Crème De Cacao, Ancho Reyes Ancho Chili Liqueur, Dark Chocolate
The heat of the Ancho chili is cooled by refreshing citrus in this heady tribute to the flavors of Manhattan’s many Latino neighborhoods.
Dutch Chocolate
New York Distillers Chief Gowanus New-Netherland Gin, Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth, Don Estaban Cacao Liqueur, Dutch’s Cocktail Colonial Bitters. It was New Amsterdam before New York, hence the pairing of two Brooklyn-based spirits, a Dutch style genever and a dark chocolate liqueur, in this stirred variation upon the classic Bronx cocktail.
While the lounge is outside of security, I think it will still provide an excellent oasis to premium American Express customers, and also to customers flying carrying airlines. Complimentary access is provided for Amex Centurion and Platinum cards and is $50 for all other cards.
What do you think of the new lounge? Will you be visiting it soon? Share your thoughts here!
