USA Today recently published the list of top 50 longest commercial air routes from the US and Canada.

In the interest conciseness, I’ve compiled the list here with number 1 being the longest…

  2. Los Angeles-Abu Dhabi (7,278 nautical miles): Etihad Airways (Boeing 777-200LR);16 hours, 10 minutes (outbound)
  3. Los Angeles-Dubai (7,233 nautical miles): Emirates (Airbus A380); 15 hours, 50 minutes (outbound)
  4. Los Angeles-Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (7,227 nautical miles): Saudia Airlines (Boeing 777-300LR); 16 hours (outbound)
  5. Dallas/Fort Worth-Brisbane, Australia (7,213 nautical miles): Qantas Airways (Boeing 747-400*); 16 hours, 5 minutes (outbound).
