British Airways Club World passengers can upgrade to first class for free on selected flights until December 31, it was announced today.
Business passengers will be able to upgrade one leg of a return journey for free.
The offer will enable them to make use of all BA’s first class facilities, including a concierge service and access to the First lounge.
To qualify, Club World passengers must request the upgrade at the time of booking. There is no limit to the number of free upgrades that can be taken during the offer period.
Bookings must be made before December 12 and outbound travel must be completed before December 31 and inbound travel by January 7.
Kate Thornton, BA’s head of product and service, said: “This is a great opportunity to thank and reward our customers, as well as giving them a chance to experience our luxurious First cabin and tailored service.”
Upgrades are subject to availability and, it should go without saying, are only available on BA routes with a First cabin.
BA is this month adding a pulled pork sandwich to its inflight first class menu.
