Breaking News: Ground Stop at ORD and MDW

Reported as a fire in the nearby air traffic control center, a ground stop has been issued for all flights into and out of O’Hare and Midway airports.

Flights are being diverted and delays are expected into the 3-hour range.

According to news media, there was 1 injury, and the cause for the fire may have been in an attempted suicide. Details are unconfirmed at this time as the story develops.
