HotelTonight turns into HotelNextWeek

HotelTonight, the popular phone app that allows users to book last minute, day-off, hotel rooms for cheap is now expanding to booking rooms for the next week.

Sam Shank, CEO of HotelTonight says…

We felt that we could do a better job at a week ahead booking than the big online travel agencies that focus on 365 days and on cruises and car rentals.

According to HotelTonight, they are trying to remain competitive against larger online travel agencies such as Priceline, Travelocity, etc.

Why 7 days? Because it’s close enough that you’ll have a better sense of what hotel’s right for you (based on your mood, the weather, where your meetings are, etc.), and not so far out that you’ll feel locked in. And it’s still last-minute, which is what we do best – and means we can stay laser-focused on creating the very best hotel booking experience out there.
