I’ve always been a fan of interacting with my readers, and as always, appreciate it greatly when you visit the blog! I created this blog as a forum where I can interact with you, where we can learn from each other, and so you can stay up to date on not only my travels and experience (in the hopes it will help you), but also the latest travel news and stories.
2 weeks ago, I was in Las Vegas for the Boarding Area conference, and had the awesome opportunity to be in a focus group for Points.com. As you may be aware, Points.com helps you exchange and buy miles legally.
As part of participating in the session, the organizers were kind enough to deposit several thousand miles into a frequent flyer account of our choosing (in my name, unfortunately…sorry that I can’t give them away!).
I’d like to hear your thoughts on what airline account I should deposit them into, as I know everyone has their differing opinion on what programs are more worthwhile than others. For me, I’m personally debating putting them in either my American Airlines AAdvantage, Alaska Mileage Plan, or British Airways Avios.
But, ultimately, I’m leaving the decision up to you guys. What frequent flyer program should I deposit the miles into and why?

Depending on what the options are, I’d go with Alaska, then American.
William Charles says
What are your mile balances with each program? How many miles are they giving you? Probably Avios for my mind.
James Larounis says
I’ve got too many with American and none with others because I use those when I accumulate a balance. I’m leaning towards BA just so I can either use it on a short haul or 50K business redemption to Dublin.
