American Airlines A319 – Interior and Entertainment
American Airlines is expanding its A319 presence out of Miami, with some new additions this fall. I really love the new A319, and the new inflight entertainment system that’s included in the setback of all seats. It’s a real treat to fly, and American did a fantastic job in creating this product, and launching it.

Twice I’ve flown the A300 series on Jet Blue from JFK to LAX when headwinds forced us to land in Albuquerque to refuel. It delayed us by four hours. Now that AA has replaced its 767’s with the A300 series on that route, I’m sure it’s bound to happen again. Maybe they’ll fare better on these shorter routes, but I see trouble ahead, especially when airlines like for their planes to fly with just enough fuel to get there.
