I enjoy the benefits my MLife Platinum status gets me, through my Diamond status I have with Hyatt. You can read about the reasons I love Platinum status in specific here.
I received an interesting email from MLife today.
In order to continue to receive MLife tier benefits, you must RENEW your MLife status each year. Simply matching to MLife initially, and then re-attaining Hyatt status each year DOES NOT automatically renew your MLife status. Interesting. I would have never known this, but thanks to this email reminder, I successfully matched my Hyatt Diamond status to MLife Platinum for the 2015 year.

Can I match with PLAT Accor and/or IHG?

You can only match Hyatt Platinum or Hyatt Diamond to MLife, since only Hyatt and MLife are partners. Accor is usually a difficult status to match with on other hotel matches, because it isn’t a “mainline” chain. IHG is a little easier. In either case, they won’t work for MLife – only Hyatt will.
