Citi has made two enhancements to their AAdvantage credit cards, both expanding earning opportunities on US Airways operated flights.

2x Miles on All US Airways Purchases

In addition to the Double AAdvantage® miles you can earn on eligible American Airlines purchases, your Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive card now earns 2 AAdvantage® miles for every $1 spent on eligible US Airways purchases.

Save 25% on In-Flight Purchases Made on US Airways

You already receive 25% savings on your eligible in-flight purchases on American Airlines. Now you can use this same benefit on US Airways flights when you make eligible purchases of food, drinks and headsets with your Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive card.

Bottom Line: Essentially, Citi is expanding to US Airways what was already available on the credit card for American Airlines flights. Nothing entirely new, but still helpful for folks who have the credit card, and are now purchasing things directly through US Airways.
