It’s a sad day for Visa cardholders who use Visa Savings Edge to receive 1% back on purchases from Staples.
The 1% savings (in the form of a statement credit) will end on December 31, according to Visa Savings Edge.
It’s not determined if the offer will come back, or what offer will replace it, if any, but as of now, it looks like the rebate at Staples will be gone on the 31st of this month.
Traditionally, many with Chase Ink Bold or Plus cards would purchase Visa or MasterCard gift cards at Staples to receive 1% back, thus reducing the overhead expense of turning these cards back into cash.
