Via a promotional brochure I received in the mail today, American Express has is now offering free WiFi for American Express Platinum and Centurion cardholders utilizing their Fine Hotels and Resorts program.
The Fine Hotels program is essentially some of the top properties in the world, where cardholders receive extra perks such as:
- Noon check-in
- Room upgrade
- Daily breakfast for 2
- Guaranteed 4pm late checkout
- A food and beverage or spa credit
- …and now, WiFi
I’ve reviewed several Fine Hotels in their program such as the Steigenberger Grand Hotel and the Rocco Forte Hotel Amigo, both in Brussels.
According to the Amex Fine Hotels site, in-room WiFi may not be available in all locations, however this is a welcome addition to those that have it, especially for hotels that don’t belong to a chain or loyalty program where you’d receive it due to your membership or elite status.
