Let’s take a look at some of the travel news in the industry this week:
- Virgin America doesn’t have lie flat seats in First Class, so in order to compete, they’re adding more comfortable pillows. Yup – I think I’m going to avoid taking American’s A321T in lie-flat First Class in order to try the new pillows… yeah, right.
- Delta is introducing a new wine menu for their DeltaOne (formerly BusinessElite) customers.
- Starwood is adding new, non-branded hotels to their repertoire. Other chains have done this, too. The new hotels will fall somewhere in-between “design” and “luxury.”
- Are these the worst flight attendant uniforms?
