Going through security at airports can be a nightmare, even if you have TSA Pre-Check. Putting your most valuable possessions in an x-ray machine to have them disappear out of your eye for a few moments can be unnerving. Most of the time, our possessions are waiting on the other side. However, thieves have devised a way to scam this simple process in order to steal your laptop, and you should be warned how it works.

This is a good video. My wife and I recently watched some other episodes from The Real Hustle and it really paid off a couple of times in Europe a few weeks ago. It was shocking how many scams seem so innocent.
Isn’t a airline ticket required to get as far as the xray check point ?
Yeah, but they could buy a refundable ticket and then cancel once they get through.
