Hyatt Centric South Beach Now Accepting Reservations

A few weeks ago, I reported on the Hyatt Centric South Beach, and gave a firsthand, live look at the construction.

Well, it looks like the time has finally come for them to accept reservations – beginning June 1, 2015 and after! They were slated to open this April, but from the looks of what I saw, that deadline may be hard to meet, though I’m sure they could always push up the opening sooner if need be.

Nightly rates at this property seem to flocculate between ~$200 and ~$500 depending on the time of year and if there are any special events in town. I did a search for June 5-7, the first weekend they’ll be open, and found nightly rates from $349, which isn’t all too uncommon in the South Beach, Collins Ave. area.

If you’re a Hyatt Diamond, you should be able to confirm into their “Hyatt Suite” (looks like they only have one type on this property) with 548-587 square feet of city views. I’m disappointed these suites don’t offer ocean views, though having not stayed on the property yet, there may be some that do, but the website doesn’t advertise it.

I’m really looking forward to this property, and am glad to see that reservations are finally up and running! Look for a review of this hotel as soon as I can snag a room. 🙂
