In this scam, a thief posing as a hotel inspector, goes into a room occupied by housekeeping. What they come out with is your purse, laptop bag, and more.

It’s a fairly ingenious crime, and most housekeepers probably wouldn’t think twice to let them in. While many have concerns over maids themselves stealing things, this outsider scam may be another thing to worry about too…
