The American Airlines AAdmiral’s Club is located directly under the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, and there’s clear signage in the terminal leading you to it.

You’ll pass through a set of entry doors, to be greeted by an attendant who will check your boarding pass for eligibility. If you’re a oneworld Emerald, or traveling First Class, you’re eligible to use the Flagship Lounge, directly to your right.

This lounge is actually quite large for what it is, which provides a sense of privacy since you’re more than likely going to find some empty seats together. Walking down the hallway, you’ll pass the bathrooms and enter into an atrium of sorts where you’ll find the buffet and self-serve drinks.

The buffet was standard, though upgraded from a traditional AAdmiral’s Club. There were tea sandwiches, cheeses and vegetables, as well as a good selection of self pour liquors.

Several computer work stations were available for use, too. Because of the partitions surrounding the central area, there’s a good bit of quiet thought the lounge, which is rather nice.

If you’ve got a choice in lounge access, though, I highly recommend visiting the British Airways Galleries lounge just down the hall adjacent to this wing.
