The long anticipated American Express Centurion Lounge at Miami International Airport is scheduled to open this week, and I’ve got the latest details for you so you know:
Opening Date: Thursday June 4, 2015
Location: Across from D14
Hours: 5:00am to 11:00pm
What Airlines Will Be Near the New Centurion Lounge?
American Airlines is the predominant carrier in Terminal D, and because of that, if you’re flying on another airline, you’ll have to take the Sky Train to D, and then back to your departing gate. If you’re flying on American, you have the clear advantage (no pun intended) here. The lounge is after security, so you’ll clear security and then head into the terminal to the lounge.
How can I access this lounge?
You’ll need an American Express Platinum card as well as a same-day boarding pass on any airline. Members can take in two guests inside as well. Non Platinum members can pay a $50/day access fee.
What type of food will this lounge offer?
The food here is complimentary, designed by James Beard award winning chef, Michelle Bernstein.
