Delta is introducing new amenity kits, set to go live in their DeltaOne and Comfort+ cabins starting July 1.
The new Delta One amenity kits feature:
- Custom designed hard- and soft-sided TUMI amenity kits – alternated in direction of travel so customers are able to collect one each way
- TUMI soft-touch pen and eyeshades
- MALIN+GOETZ lip moisturizer, body lotion and mouthwash
- striped socks, facial tissues, earplugs and a dental kit with Crest toothpaste
The kits will come in a hard and soft variety, and will be available in alternate directions. So, with a complete round-trip, you should be able to receive both types. Personally, I’m a fan of the harder type since I think that will be great to use for small electronics or cables that you don’t want damaged.
Delta Comfort+ will receive a new “sleep kit” with the addition of a toothbrush and toothpaste as well as an eye mask and earplugs on all long-haul international flights. In the Main Cabin, customers will continue to receive a sleep kit with an eye mask and earplugs on international flights (to Europe, Asia, etc., and not Mexico or Canada). Delta is the only one of the “big three” carriers to offer amenity-type kits in the rear of the cabin. For more information on the kits, you can visit Delta’s press page here. Delta has a cool page on the evolution of inflight amenity kits here, if you’re interested.
