Qantas First Class and Business appears to have fairly wide open award space to Australia , which is something rare, to say the least. Most of the availability begins around the April 2016 timeframe and gets progressively better the farther out you search.
Folks, this one is going to go quick so act now, think later.
As a reminder, one-way in Quantas First Class will cost you 72,500 AAdvantage miles. A round-trip will cost you 145,000 AAdvantage miles and $113.30 in taxes and fees.
Here’s Los Angeles to Melbourne, non-stop in April/May.
Here’s the return, Melbourne to LAX in May/June.
Here’s Dallas to Sydney, non-stop in May/June.
Availability was much better a few minutes ago, but this is what I could screenshot now. Searching a few times, looks like some dates are going in and out of inventory which means people are booking
Here’s June/July from Sydney to Dallas, non-stop in First.
Hurry up and book before these are gone – this won’t last!

I owe you BIG TIME for this! Thank you! I got two RT tickets late July LAX-SYD, one in first on QF A380, returning via on QF via BNE 747 in biz. The other LAX-SYD via SFO RT in biz. The best use of miles for me since US Air’s liberal “rules”.
