A fairly useless program to begin with, but effective April 27, Barclaycard will be disbanding their Rewards Fan Zone program, in an email I was sent this morning.
Basically, the program allowed participants to earn miles by logging into their account, visiting their rewards balances and also visiting the Barclaycard RewardsBoost shopping portal. The point amounts earned were menial, and obviously didn’t attract customers – or increased usage from Barclaycard, hence the program being discontinued. That said, it was an easy way to earn a few miles every month, even though it was very small.
