Via Brian Summers, effective October 1, United will be removing baked on board cookies from their domestic First Class cabins. The baked on board version will be replaced by a “warmed on board” version, just like American Airlines did a few years ago.
Here’s the funny thing here — apparently this is due to “feedback.” Are customers really fed up with a baked on board cookie and asked for a warmed on board version? Something seems a bit odd here…
Here’s the even funnier thing — apparently the “feedback” stops on all routes to Hawaii, because those routes will continue to get baked on board cookies. Very odd indeed.
In any event, if you enjoy the baked on board cookies, guess you should book a United flight this weekend to get your fill in…
