Via IADGR8 on Twitter, there’s a no annual fee version of the Amtrak Platinum Select MasterCard, that comes with a 15,000 point bonus. Last year, Amtrak partnered with Bank of America for their new credit cards and 2 versions were released.
You’ll get 15,000 points after you make $1,000 in purchases within the first 90 days. For regular spending, you’ll earn 2 points per dollar on Amtrak spend and a dollar per point on everything else.
You’ll also get:
- A 5% rebate on redeemed Amtrak Guest Rewards points for Amtrak travel
- No annual fee
- No foreign transaction fees
Traditionally, this card only offered a 12,000 sign up bonus, but now the bonus has risen to 15,000 points.
