For those that don’t know, I’m a Kimpton Inner Circle member – it’s their top tier in their Kimpton Karma Rewards loyalty program, and is THE best elite status there is, in my opinion.

As you progress through the tiers of the program, you’re awarded various perks, including room upgrades.

I find that as an Inner Circle member, I tend to get these upgrades anyway, without having to use one of my upgrade certificates, which comes in handy for you, since I’m giving away a free room upgrade! It’s my Christmas present to you.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve booked a reservation yet with Kimpton – you can still do that even after you win the prize. So, no pressure.

Basically, these upgrades allow you to go from a regular room up to an executive room, suite, etc., (as judged by the hotel ) — but, so you know, I generally find these upgrades to be MUCH better than that you’ll find at a cookie cutter Hyatt or SPG hotel, for example. With a room upgrade, a suite is looking bright in your future…and even a Presidential or similar type suite if there is one. There’s no guarantee, but for those that don’t have experience with Kimpton, their upgrades are usually, if not always, phenomenal.
