Tumi Travel Adapter Review

When traveling–especially internationally–having a reliable adapter is important. The problem is that there are hundreds of different adapters on the market–all promising guaranteed reliability and durability, and weeding out the good ones can be a struggle. In comes the Tumi travel adapter, that I carry with me on every trip…

As I have found, the Tumi Electric Adapter is a great option for travelers and every day people on-the-go. The Tumi travel adapter in general offers some unique features. It has a smaller, portable frame–only 2 inches in diameter–that easily fits in a suitcase, purse or bag. It only weighs half a pound, making it on the lighter end of adapters. On the adapter itself, there are four different plug configurations that work for non-grounded electrical connectivity. Also, the adapter is listed to work in 150 different countries, and will charge a variety of devices–everything from an iPhone to a digital camera. This especially makes it easier to use, as the traveler does not need to carry multiple adapters around for different devices.

Perhaps the two things that most make the Tumi Electric Adapter stand out among the competition is versatility, and simplicity. As mentioned before, the Tumi Electric Adapter works in 150 different countries. This means that any international or frequent traveler who may be going from country-to-country does not have to question whether or not Tumi will work–because the answer is most likely yes. On top of that, the adapter is simple. There are no attachments or complicated designs that make it hard to operate. The user does not have to worry about forgetting a necessary piece of the product, or figuring out various, unlabeled switches.

Still, there are hundreds of different adapters on the market–why this one? In a situation where you find yourself miles away from home and in need of a device–if not multiple ones–charged, the last thing you want is an adapter that falls apart too easily or is too difficult to work. The Tumi Electric Adapter removes this possibility, and creates the peace of mind that goes along with knowing that anytime and anywhere your devices can be charged without a problem. Many of the customer feedback reports reflect this same sentiment, as users continually call it an easy, reliable option for their traveling needs. Similarly, other adapters on the market that are quite popular–Travel Inspira Universal Adapter–use simplistic design as a selling point. However, unlike the Tumi Electric Adapter, these other products do not contain multiple charging ports, and competitors thatdohave multiple charging ports cannot do it simplistically. In this way, the Tumi Electric Adapter is able to meet both the needs of functionality and design in a way that competing products cannot.

Overall, for anyone–not just travelers–looking to be out-and-about, the Tumi Electric Adapter is a durable product that requires no hassle, and is very user-friendly. The portable device will ensure that your devices are always ready–no matter where your adventures take you.
