Do you like traveling? Or maybe it’s just something you do for business? Either way, trips can often turn from fun to nightmare when it comes to your luggage. And this doesn’t even count the ones that get lost. We’re talking about the bags that fall apart or get broken in normal useor even the ones that said they were acceptable as a carry-on but ended up being too big. Wouldn’t it be nice to have someone pick out a list of the very best carry on luggage to be found anywhere so you could pick out what was perfect for you? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Just such a list is what follows.

Tumi Alpha 2 International Carry On Suitcase

Number one on the list of requirements for practically anyone’s luggage is that it be durable enough to take on the normal rough and tumble world of travel. That’s one requirement that the Tumi Alpha 2 International Carry-On Suitcase does in spades. Not only is it made of apolycarbonate shell covered in ballistic nylon that makes it practically as tough as they come, but the underlying construction is made to have this one last a long time. Further, it’s a dream to pull with narrow wheels that make it a quick pull. It has a clamshell opening along with a wrap-around zipper that gives it extra room to expand far beyond its normal capacity. I still own a Tumi Alpha 2, and consider it to be one of the best carry on luggage cases out there.

Travelpro MaxLite3 22-Inch Expandable Rollaboard

Did you ever wonder what kind of suitcase you would get if you bought one that was designed by a person who traveledfull-time? Like a pilot? Wonder no longer. Travelpro was founded in 1987 by a pilot, so you know that anything they make will pass stringent requirements. This includes theMaxLite3 22-Inch Expandable Rollaboard carry-on. Not only is this one durable, but when it comes to overly-complicated packing, that’s a thing of the past with one huge compartment and none of the tiny cubicles to be filled. This one weighs only six pounds and has a generously sized handle that expands to two lengths.

Rimowa Topas Aluminium Magnesium Alloy Luggage 20″Inch Multiwheel System 32L Pop Suitcase

There’s no need to decide whether theRimowa Topas Aluminium Magnesium Alloy Luggage 20″Inch Multiwheel System 32L Pop Suitcase is tough enough to handle the job of traveling. It just looks the part, especially considering the all metal construction. But when you consider the options such as the generous handle and the all-around wheels, this one moves like a dreambut is built to take the abuse of a tank. This one does not come with a turrent. 🙂 This is one of my favorite, best carry on luggage pieces.

Incase Eo Roller

If you are looking for a piece of luggage that fits whatever requirements that you might have for it, check out theIncase Eo Roller. This one is built ideally for the multi-minded business person who not only needs a place to stuff a change of clothes and his or her toiletriesbut a laptop and papers as well. Not only thatbut when you collapse the handle, there’s allow a traditional handle on the side to carry it like a briefcase. There are even a set of loops on each side of this one to add your jacket or other necessary items.

Eagle Creek Morphus 22

Wow. Talk about convertible. With the Eagle Creek Morphus 22 you can not only have a carry-on with a lot of panache, but you have the option of making this one either one bag or two, and all it takes to make it go from one to the other is a zipper. And if you decide that this isn’t enough, you can even lower the expandable handle and make it into a backpack as well. This one is made of durable weather- and abrasion-resistant materials and has a huge main compartment as well as lots of pockets on the inside and outside for all of those little extras that everyone always seems to have.

That, in a nutshell, is a round-up of the best of the best when it comes to the best carry on luggage. Unfortunately, the airlines still have the leverage to lose your checked baggage, but at least you’ll have the best when it comes to what you took on board with you. Good luck.
