Save 20% on Amtrak Tickets as a AAA Member for a Limited Time Only

Travelers that are looking to visit family, vacation, or just take a break from routine will want to set their sights on the rails. Amtrak is offering a great deal of opportunities to see the world, and if you’re a member of AAA, you are going to be delighted. You see, you normally get a 10% discount on all Amtrak travel, but the railroad company is sweetening up the deal for those that book Amtrak tickets between now and May 15, 2017.

An Extra Discount

The discount is simple, all AAA members will be given 10% off of their travel, and with the extra discount, another 10%. That’s a total of 20% off for trips on the rails. This sale goes through May 15, 2017, and is valid for travel up to June 12, 2017. That means that you could very well see more of the United States on the rails, at a savings of 20% off the already low Amtrak prices.

Exactly How Much Will You Save?

With the Amtrak AAA Discount, you are going to be able to save quite a bit. For instance, if you were to travel from Los Angeles to Chicago, you would save $34 on your fare, which drops the overall price to far less than even an Airplane ticket. If you wanted to go back home from Chicago to Los Angeles, you could very well save $30 on the ticket, and if you were to book a roundtrip option, expect to save upwards of $65 on your fare. Travel between any locale can net you at least $50 off of a round trip fare, and upwards of $100 if you select more luxurious tickets.
