The Salter Labs Sa8110 Adult Elongated Mask is the perfect option for those who are traveling with a nebulizer. This product by Salter Labs is durable and able to withstand the duress of travel. Salter Labs has a reputation for creating best-in-class products with the consumer in mind, making this product reliable.

Salter Labs puts the patient’s needs first and foremost when creating a healthcare product, which means that they use innovative designs to create the best product possible.

The Sa8110 is a face mask with an elastic strap to keep it in position. This strap is critical to keep the mask on the user even if they are bumped. This makes it good for individuals in a crowded place, such as an airport terminal. It even can be useful on airplanes when turbulence is encountered, or on a road trip with potholes.

A face mask style is an option for people who find traditional cannulas uncomfortable. Some users report cannulas drying out their nostrils and causing discomfort. This is not a concern with a face mask design. If the user prefers breathing through their mouth, this mask style will be a better fit. The mask style may stay in place easier than a cannula, which can be crucial when traveling or moving around.

This comes with 7 feet of tubing, giving the user a wide range of movement. Even if their nebulizer is not portable, this mask gives the user the option to move around more. Other tubes are much shorter than 7 feet, tethering the user to their device like a dog to a pole. The Sa8110 makes a significant effort not to hinder the movement of the user any more than is necessary for proper function. The extra length of tubing makes this mask more efficient for travel. Not being restricted to a small area allows the user to confidently navigate a crowded area such as an airport.

This mask is not only made of a highly durable material, it is made of a highly comfortable one as well. The durability makes travel safer. The plastic is soft so it doesn’t bite into the skin in a painful or uncomfortable way. There is no leaking outside the edges, which is crucial when trying to get a full dose of medication or oxygen.

This mask is compatible with most nebulizers as well as oxygen concentrators. In some instances, the mask needs to be slightly altered to fit. In some nebulizers, the oxygen tubing needs to be removed and subsequently placed inside the nebulizer. This adaptability is another great feature about this product.
