Traveling is the best way to experience something new in life. It’s always fun to see different places and to meet new people. However, the thing which annoys most travelers is finding a luggage bag that can be comfortable to carry while traveling and keep the valuables safe. Choosing the right luggage bags for a trip can bring you numerous benefits, and it’s important to discern between the various luggage sizes.

So, what do you need to check while purchasing a new luggage bag?

There are different sizes of luggage’s which are most convenient when traveling; this includes 18” – 22” Carry-on luggage which is usually considered international carry-on sizes ideal for 1-2 days trips. There are also 21” – 22” Carry-on luggage most convenient for most domestic flights because they harbor enough space for some outfits and dresses and a couple of some pair of shoes.

There are also 23”-24” and 25”-27” checked bags which are an ideal bags for a 5 to 7 days trip depending on how you pack. It’s convenient not to break your back in moving it. Finally, we have the 28”-32” suitcase which is meant for trips extending a week. This is because of their tremendous capacity and large size.

Amazon for far much the longest time has had most of this carry on size bags convenient for all types of trips that need either much luggage or even for smaller luggage convenient for a day or two. Some the medium sized bags convenient for a days trip or two that are available of size 18″-22″ include the Aerolite carry on under seat wheeled bag which goes for $48-52. Also, there are bigger sized bags that are available in size 28″ to 32″ suitable for many day’s trip like the Kenneth Cole Reaction Out of the Bounds which only goes for 50 to 100 dollars.

The first thing you must decide while going for bags is either go for the retractable handles, back straps or bag with wheels. It’s up to you to decisively decide which one is the best for you. Bag with wheels make your luggage fairly easy to carry anywhere, but back straps bags are convenient to carry if you don’t have too many items to carry with you. Moreover, a backpack is a good option to carry thing you need from a place to place. I use the Tumi Alpha 2 backpack.

But, if you go for the traditional travel luggage, people go for two options namely the hard sided and the soft sided.

As the name suggest, hard-sided bags are more sturdy compared to soft sided bags when you want to carry some expensive stuff. I personally prefer hard sided bags, which include the Rimowa Tapasseries.

On the other hand, soft bags are created from leather, polyester, nylon, microfiber and other soft materials. Though these bags are less durable, they are pretty easy to carry if you are going for short trips. The best advantage they offer is that they can be expanded and offer more space for your belongings. I think the Tumi Alpha 2 carry on is the best of the soft sided variety.

Looking for a good quality travel bags has become much more convenient nowadays. With the help of the internet, you can browse and choose from different luggage brands and luggage sizes to help make your trip more enjoyable.
