FoundersCard Discount Code:

  1. To receive the lowest price on your FoundersCard, go to their website.
  2. For a one-year membership of $495 use code FCTFC1YR. To prepay for two years, the membership fee is $395 (use code FCTFC2YR.)

FoundersCard Cost

Founders Card’s current offer for readers of The Forward Cabin is $495 (use code FCTFC1YR), and if you prepay for two years, the membership fee is $395 (use code FCTFC2YR), this special price is only available for a limited time, and requires a $95 initiation fee when using the promo code (one time only, you won’t pay the initiation fee in subsequent years). Founders Card’s standard price for membership is $795.

Have you been considering a membership with the FoundersCard but haven’t found a way to justify the cost? Sure, the annual fee of $795 may seem a little steep, but more often than not, current members are able to offer new members a substantial discount with their referral code. This could mean up to $300 of of the current membership price and the benefits just may outweigh the cost. Take a look below at a couple of the ways this membership could be saving you some serious money.

Airfare

The Founders Card boasts discounted airfare with multiple airlines such as Jet Blue, British Airways, and Virgin America. The discounts range from 5% to 25% and often include extra perks such as free upgrades with many of their partner airlines. The discount alone could mean a big savings on a round trip flight.

Hotels

Another benefit available to FoundersCard members is discounted rates at hand selected hotels in cities around the world. Again, the benefits range from free room upgrades and additional perks such as complimentary breakfast and free WiFi to rates that are sometimes reduced by 40% or more. Oftentimes, this benefit alone could allow you to recoup the cost of membership.

Let’s say that I own a business in New York City and I have to travel to Dallas, Texas for a week to secure a new client. I am flying round trip from John F. Kennedy to Dallas/Ft. Worth. At today’s rates, I could save up to $100 on my flight alone. Now, I am staying at a five-star hotel because I want to impress my potential client. Due to my FoundersCard membership, I am saving $575 on the cost of my room over the course of five days. On this trip alone, I am saving $675. I have already covered the cost of my membership and I’m sure I’ll make multiple trips like this one throughout the year.

While justifying the cost of the FoundersCard is certainly a personal decision, I have highlighted only two of the many benefits that this card offers. If you travel for business or leisure very often, this membership could definitely save you some much needed money that could be invested back into your business.
