FoundersCard Promo Code: Save Big on Membership

September 7, 2017 by James Larounis Leave a Comment

Get award booking help and personalized travel assistance for as little as $1 a month!

FoundersCard Promo Code:

  1. To receive the lowest price on your FoundersCard, go to their website.
  2. For a one-year membership of $495 use code FCTFC1YR. To prepay for two years, the membership fee is $395 (use code FCTFC2YR.

Founders Card’s current offer for readers of The Forward Cabin is $495 (use code FCTFC1YR), and if you prepay for two years, the membership fee is $395 (use code FCTFC2YR), this special price is only available for a limited time, and requires a $95 initiation fee when using the promo code (one time only, you won’t pay the initiation fee in subsequent years). Founders Card’s standard price for membership is $795.

Though aimed specifically at entrepreneurs, FoundersCard is also a great card for frequent travelers. The card, which is members-only, gives you access to discounts with certain airlines, hotel chains, and car rental companies, among other benefits. While the one-time initiation fee of $95 and annual fee of $396 are steep, the benefits of the card likely more than make up for the fees.

Travel benefits include travel discounts and/or elite status on airlines including American Airlines (quarterly benefits have included elite status challenges of 5% off ticket prices), British Airways (a 10% discount on most flights from the US, Canada, and the UK), JetBlue (5% discount on fares plus 6 JetBlue points for every dollar spent), Virgin America (5-10% discount on most fares), and Virgin Atlantic (complementary Silver elite status plus 20% discount on flights originating from the US and Vancouver to the UK). Some of the other travel benefits apply to services from companies like Hertz and Hilton, and are often comparable or better than benefits offered by airline or hotel credit cards (e.g., Hilton HHonors Reserve Card).

Hotel discounts, which range from 5-25%, include deals on many Marriott and Starwood hotels across the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Additionally, FoundersCard offers special prices on many boutique and independent hotels. Extra perks of using the card include free WiFi, late checkouts, and discounts on hotel services like spa and dining; these perks vary depending on the hotel.

FoundersCard also provides great shopping and business discounts from vendors such as AT&T, Dell, UpWork, UPS, LegalZoom, Shopify, Audi, and BMW. Some of the shopping discounts include special deals on 1-800-Flowers, free magazine subscriptions, and discounted gym memberships and spa and yoga sessions.

Obviously, whether or not FoundersCard makes sense for you will depend on how useful the perks are to your particular lifestyle. If you’re a frequent traveler and often use services like gym memberships and spas, FoundersCard is likely worth the price.

SELECT transforms any existing credit or debit card into a black card that unlocks VIP perks, pricing, and experiences at thousands of premier destinations around the world.
