AAdvantage Platinum Pros Now Get Free Same Day Flight Changes

Interesting news today: AAdvantage Platinum Pros now get free same day flight changes, just like Executive Platinums.

To move flights, “E” inventory must be available. For Platinums and Golds, a $75 fee is required. Same day changes can only occur for domestic US flights and also JFK-LHR flights.

Honestly, I see this as a negative. With the limited amount of same day change inventory as there is, allowing more people to access it for free is going to make the ability for Executive Platinum and Concierge Key members to use it more difficult.
