If your travels will take you through Terminal D at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, you’re in luck. There’s some new – albeit temporary – seating that’s far more comfortable than the usual gate benches, that you may not be aware of.
Walk down towards Gate D7 (in that vicinity) and you’ll notice a bunch of leather couches, armchairs and more. These are the old style furniture from the Admiral’s Club, now under renovation in Terminal D. In the meantime while the club gets renovated, these furniture pieces are being housed at the end of Terminal D.

If you don’t have lounge access, or simple want a more comfortable place to sit, this is a nice free way to do so, while the club gets renovated, and anyone can access it.
