If you’ve been onboard an American Airlines plane recently, you’ve surely seen the barbecue chicken sandwich on the Economy buy on board “Marketplace” menu.
Well, that is what it is supposed to look like.
There’s been a picture circulating around of what this sandwich really looks like, and let me tell you, it isn’t appetizing. I had it two weeks ago and it was worse than eating cardboard. Not only do the two pictures not match (even in the slightest) but the sandwich served contained meager portions of chicken, paired with stale bread, creating one of the most miserable things I have ever eaten in my life.

Finally, this sandwich is leaving the onboard menu… for good. This memo has been circulating around in various internal forums, and advises the BBQ sandwich is no longer, and will replaced by a turkey havarti sandwich as soon as logistically possible.
