Myanmar offers exciting things to do to experience the entertaining nightlife. The country has plenty to do in the night, like going around the night markets to dining at the beachside. Below are some of the best experiences for your Myanmar tour, perfect for a memorable holiday:

  1. Try the well-known Myanmar beer:

Wherever you go, trying local things is a must. Do try the famous Myanmar beer when you are hanging out with your friends or family. It is made in the microbrewery, and it is renowned across the world. Even if you are not a big fan of beer, just taste Myanmar beer on your holiday, it might change your view on beer. Some of the best places to try Myanmar beer are 50th street bar, Feel restaurant, Rangoon tea house, etc.

  1. Enjoy dinner at a beachside restaurant in Bagan:

Bagan is an old city of Myanmar loaded with entertainment, discos, and clubs. The place offers a unique kind of nightlife. After the sun sets, the ancient city offers people subtle nightlife experiences like dinner at riverside restaurants for a romantic and exclusive time with your loved ones. However, they are not open this late-night; their dining experience is worth it. Try to reach by sunset to make the most of your time and to get a good table. You can also go to the bars at the restaurants or hotels offering regular puppet shows and entertaining music.

  1. Witness the sunset from the U Bein Bridge:

The U Bein Bridge is one of the most popular places to visit in Myanmar. The best time to visit this attraction on your Myanmar tour package is during dusk hours. The sun setting the water is the most stunning sight to experience. It is the perfect place to begin your nightlife with.

  1. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda and watch how it shines at night:

Shwedagon Pagoda is one of the most beautiful attractions and is a must-visit on Myanmar tour packages. Your nightlife experiences cannot complete without witnessing the shine of Shwedagon Pagoda. It is a symbol of devotion in Myanmar, which preserves eight hair strings of Buddhists.

  1. Know some of the old tales from colorful puppets:

Myanmar nightlife has unique experiences to witness, out of which one is witnessing the puppet show, which recreates ancient tales in creative ways. The shows are arranged for an hour, but they are so engaging that you might not want to leave. The location of the show is at the 66th street, Mandalay, Myanmar.

  1. Go clubbing in Yangon:

Yangon is a party hub loaded with clubs. Dress up your best and go around the clubs, make new friends, and enjoy a couple of drinks. Keep in mind that clubs shut down at 2.00 AM. If you are with family, choose clubs after consulting some people if it is suitable for families or not. Some of the popular clubs to visit are Channel V, Fuse Club, Penthouse, The Vibe, etc.

  1. Explore Kandawgyi Lake:

Kandawgyi Lake is one of the most popular lakes in Yangon, which is located close to Shwedagon Pagoda. Enjoy peaceful time by strolling along the lake, relaxing in blissful tranquility, or by enjoying a drink at any restaurant close to the lake. It is an artificial lake glowing at night with the glittering shadow of Shwedagon Pagoda.

  1. Enjoy a live comedy show of the Moustache Brothers:

The Moustache Brothers are known for their witty humor. For a change from the clubbing nightlife, check out this unique comedy show where the brothers perform an entertaining show based on Myanmar’s social and political situation with comedy and traditional dance. They perform the show in English starting at 8.30 PM onwards at the 39th street, Mandalay.

  1. Try local food:

Trying the Burmese street food in the night is another activity you cannot miss out on your Myanmar tour packages. You can explore any night market in Yangon or Mandalay and try some mouthwatering food. But do not compromise on hygiene and eat food from some decent restaurant or food stall. Some of the must-taste dishes are Fried chickpea tofu, Samosa salad, Shan Noodles, etc.

  1. Explore the night markets:

Night markets in Myanmar are famous for food as well as shopping. You will get to experience proper Burmese culture and lifestyle. Many shops are famous here and are open till 11.00 PM in the night. You will be surrounded by many people, so it is absolutely safe even if you are by yourself. Some of the popular night markets you should explore are Yangon night market, Mandalay night market, Anawrahta road night market, etc. The Anawrahta road night market is one of the most popular and busy night markets in Myanmar. It starts before sunset loaded with roadside food stalls.

Before heading to any clubs, make sure you check if they have a fixed dress code and specific timing. We hope you cover the above things to do on your Myanmar tour package and make the most of your holiday.
