The Most Comfortable Trousers for Air Travel

While traveling, comfortability is key. However, it is quite difficult to get the right trousers for air travel with comfort in question… and that’s where Bluffworks (for men) and Anatomie (for women) come in. Travel pants are made of three important features which are lightweight, fit and comfort. Some of the features that make up comfortability of such include:

Flexible fit. The main source of comfortability in trousers while on a flight is fitness. Travelling trousers should, therefore, be fit such that they allow you to sit for long periods with the trousers not digging themselves into your skin or drawing marks on your skin.

Lightweight. Comfortable air traveling trousers should be made of a material that is light in weight and has durability. Nylon, elastane, and spandex are the most preferred material. While packing for flights, light packing is really preferred as well and this can be achieved through having such trousers of light weight.

Resistance to wrinkles. It really pains once you arrive late into a hotel room with no iron box and the trousers are wrinkled. Every air traveler would wish to get their trousers unwrinkled anytime they want to wear it. Therefore, while choosing the trousers to travel with, consider trousers that are resistant to wrinkles.

Water resistant. Commonly, materials used to make most pants used for traveling are water resistant. This may sound difficult but it’s helpful once you happen to pour water on yourself or drop food particles on the trouser. However, if water-resistant pants become difficult to find, consider fast drying ones for air travel.

Deep pockets. Deep pockets become a comfortability consideration as men are fond of keeping their ID’s in the pockets. With a deep-pocketed pant, you can store your phone, keys, wallet as well as change for safety from falling out.

Anatomie travel pants

Breathable. While traveling especially to hot environments, breathability becomes a great consideration. Some regions have temperatures going high to almost 80F which may cause lack of comfortability once you are in a tight trouser.

My Picks

For men, hands down the best pair of pants is Bluffworks. I personally own numerous pairs of these pants, and they’re like gold to me.

For women, try Anatomie. Numerous friends have recommended these pants specifically made for women, and they’re very similar to the Bluffworks style for men.

Both of these styles are comfortable trousers for air travel, and they’re excellent at packing well, keeping wrinkle resistant and also wearing well while on the road.
