SkyStreamX Review: Streaming TV Made Easy

Skystream provides two products, both are Android TV Boxes that allow streaming from multiple subscription websites. Both products can be plugged in to any television and are easy to set up with a “one-plug” process. Both Skystream products are programmed with a multimedia library that contains movies, games, and applications based on your preference. Both SkystreamX Android Box which retails for $149.99, and the companies Cable Cutting Package which retails for $194.99 provides so many options for television. The price allows you to have any type of streaming system you want on your television, or multimedia device. It is very enjoyable to know that instead of having to switch to a computer to watch Netflix, you can watch it on the comfort of your own tv with the click of a button.

This device is so compact it can fit absolutely anywhere. You can also stream from programs like Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Starz, HBO, and many more options you have to choose from. They also have a multimedia portal that allows you to search and download your favorite content. The multimedia portal is a super easy to use system that allows you to search and download whichever app, movie, or tv show you are looking for.

Although the subscription fees may apply since they are membership based, SkyStreamX will still allow you to download the movies and tv shows you desire to watch at all times. SkystreamX also allows you to download apps from the google play store, so you can play games and listen to music on Spotify, or check your Instagram and snapchat whenever it is convenient for you.

Since they both come with the firm price, there are no monthly fees which is definitely a plus and makes this product much more convenient than Amazon Fire, Roku, and the other alternative streaming boxes/devices. Even though the alternative boxes are also a one time fee, nobody has been able to find a product quite like this one which allows you to stream from multiple subscriptions and play games all in one device.

Since it connects through wireless internet, all you need to do is plug in the HDMI cable, which makes it a fast and easy set up. It comes with a 1 year warranty and Skystream will personally replace any part of the streaming kit that you have an issue with. They also have a 24 hour customer service center that can provide anybody with feedback as soon as they need it. SkystreamX also contains a backlit SkystreamX air mouse remote allows for easy navigation in the dark, at night, when the lights are basically turned off. Which is incredibly convenient if you have children and/or the remote gets lost.

The only difference between the two packages is that the fully entailed cable cutting package which is $50.00 more than the Android TV Box alone, is that the full package comes with a HDTV indoor antenna. The antenna allows you to stream free cable based on your location. They do not allow returns on this antenna so as the website suggests, it is best to do your research on which programs will be available to you before purchasing. It’s a one time price which comes in handy when monthly cable fees can pile and back up.

The operating system is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is the 2nd newest android programming next to Marshmallow which is Android system 6.0. This system helps ensure that the applications on the system work effortlessly, and flawlessly. Along with the programming, the box comes ready to be plugged in and also includes the HDMI cord that you just need to plug in.
