The Easiest Countries In The World To Get Citizenship

Get award booking help and personalized travel assistance for as little as $1 a month!

Moving to another country is a big decision to make and there are many factors to consider. You need to think about the cost of living and the kind of lifestyle that you will have, but you also need to consider the legal aspects. How easy is it to get into the country? What kind of visas do you need? Will you be able to get citizenship?

If you can successfully apply for citizenship, it makes it a lot easier to stay in the country long term without having to worry about extending your visa. If you want to work in the country, it’s much easier if you are a full citizen too. But the process of getting citizenship varies from country to country, so you should look for places where it’s fairly easy. These are some of the easiest places around the world to become a citizen.

Canada

Canada is a beautiful country and it has a reputation for being very welcoming to expats. There are a lot of great reasons to move there, like good property options, improved quality of life, and an excellent education system. If you’re moving from the US, you will still feel at home in Canada too. In order to apply, you only need to be a permanent resident for between 3 and 5 years, file taxes if necessary and pass a simple citizenship test. The language test may be an issue for some people but if you come from any English-speaking country, you don’t need to worry about this.

Ireland

Ireland is only a small country but it has so much to offer. There are some incredible cities like Dublin and Belfast, lots of amazing countryside, and very welcoming locals. If you become a citizen, you will also be able to travel throughout Europe with no restrictions, so it’s a great place to live if you haven’t seen that part of the world. Once you have been living there for 5 years, you can go to the ias office to get help and advice about applying for citizenship. The process is fairly quick, but it’s even quicker if you have Irish heritage. In some cases, you can apply to be a citizen straight away without having to wait 5 years.

Singapore

Singapore is one of the most popular Asian destinations in the world right now. It has a very rich culture that blends elements from around the continent. A lot of money has been put into developing Singapore in the last few decades so it’s a very modern, urban city-state but it hasn’t lost any of the traditional heritage that makes it so great. It’s also one of the easiest places in the world to get citizenship. Anybody that marries a citizen, gets a job, or starts a business, becomes a permanent resident. You only need to wait 2 years after that before you can apply for full citizenship. However, be aware that if you are younger than retirement age and male, you may be called up for national service.

If you are considering moving abroad and you are concerned about citizenship, these are some of the best countries to move to.
