Once you have reached there, you would surely love to see more of the place. Here’s a list which will tell you where you can begin your exploring from: • Federation Square: It was opened up in 2002 to remember 100 years of Federation. While it did divide Melburnians back then and even continues to do so now, there’s no doubt that it’s an integral part of the city. Moreover, it’s a great place to begin your sightseeing from. The building is made of an ultra modern design fill of closed and open spaces which provide a beautiful contrast with the Victorian buildings that surround it. The Melbourne gardens altogether cover an impressive area of around 38 hectares and there are more than even 8,500 species of plants found there. When here, do take the Aboriginal Heritage Walk which offers a look into the heritage of indigenous Australians. During summers you can come here to see a moonlight cinema set up right under the beautiful stars. Also, The Royal Botanic Gardens are also free for visiting so you don’t have to pay a thing here. • Southbank and Arts Centre Melbourne: This is the place where you will get to see a variety of cultural attractions. You will find lots of outdoor and indoor cafes, restaurants and other forms of live entertainment at the Southbank promenade. If you are looking to buy something, then there is an amazing art and crafts market, which is held every Sunday also there’s a lot of festivals which is held every Sunday throughout the year. Along with this, the whole building is really popular for The Great Hall where the visitors are encouraged to just lie on the floor, look up and gaze at the stunning colorful stained glass ceiling.
