It’s my favorite quote on travel, and one that I think not only shows why we travel, but how we travel. It’s simple, yet lasting, and sums up why we always look for the best deal, why we save up our frequent flyer miles, and why we look forward to sleeping in a hotel bed vs. our own.
“To move, to breathe, to fly, to float; To gain all while you give; To roam the roads of lands remote; To travel is to live.”
― Hans Christian Andersen, The Fairy Tale of My Life: An Autobiography
