We’ve had a particularly cold weekend, and at DFW, many planes were getting de-iced late into Sunday evening.
In today’s behind the scenes series, we take a look at how de-icing works, courtesy of American Airlines. It’s an interesting process, and one that keeps commercial planes flying, even when the weather is bad.
