The next Reach for the Miles meetup has been announced!
Thursday, November 20, 2014
6:00 PM
Professor Thom’s
219 2nd Avenue
New York, NY 10003
On hand will be special guest, and fellow Boarding Area blogger Stefan Krasowski who writes Rapid Travel Chai.
From the event organizer: “Before you head off for the Thanksgiving holiday, come discuss your year-end travel plans, manufactured spending techniques and award trips that you have planned. Join us on Thursday, November 20th, from 6 to 9pm to mingle and meet others from the travel industry, talk points and miles, have a drink from the cash bar and enjoy a fun, informal evening. The bar is extending their happy hour special for us again. You must be 21 to enter. We’ll be upstairs at the venue. The nearest subway stop is the Union Square L, N, Q, R, 4, 5 and 6 trains. Look forward to seeing you there!”
These meetups are a great chance to meet other miles and points aficionados and bloggers, and learn the latest tricks of the trade…all over a few drinks. If you haven’t been to one of these, or a Frequent Traveler University, you’re missing out.

Jamie Larounis is an avid traveler, blogger and miles/points educator. Traveling well over 100,000 miles a year and staying in hotels for over 100 nights, he leverages miles, points and other deals to fly in first class cabins, and stay in 5-star hotels. The Forward Cabin shares his experiences, musings, reviews, tips, tricks, resources and industry news with you, the fellow traveler.
Are you going to be there?
I will also be there! It’s always a nice time.
