American Airlines Adding Several New (In some cases, surprising) Routes

Hot off the AA presses today, there’s several new route announcements and cancellations:

Out of Dallas

• DFW to Dublin, summer seasonal, operated by a 787-9 daily
• DFW to Munich, summer seasonal, operated by a 787-8 daily

Out of Phoenix

• PHX to London, summer seasonal, operated by a 777-200 daily

Out of Philadelphia

• PHL to Edinburgh, Scotland, summer seasonal, operated by a 757 daily
• PHL to Berlin, summer seasonal, operated by a 767, 4x weekly
• PHL to Bologna, Italy, operated by a 767, 4x weekly
• PHL to Dubrovnik, Croatia, operated by a 767, 3x weekly

Out of Charlotte

• CLT to Munich, year round, operated by an A330-200, daily

Out of Chicago

• ORD to Athens, Greece, summer seasonal, operated by a 787-8, daily

Reductions

• Chicago to Tokyo will reduce from daily to 3x per week
• Los Angeles to Mexico City will reduce from 2x daily to once per day.
