Welcome to Boarding Area!

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to now be blogging on Boarding Area! Here at The Forward Cabin, I’ll be telling you the tips, tricks and successes to get you started on your next adventure.

As I was going through high school and college, I always wanted to travel the world. Fortunately, in high school, I had the opportunity to travel to Germany and the Czech Republic, and also China. Seeing the world as it is beyond the US is an unforgettable experience and one every young person should do. Traveling is the best classroom, though unfortunately many young people are constrained with tight budgets and are ill-equipped to handle the world of miles, points, or even just how to book plane tickets.

Just the other day, I had a friend tell be how she paid a change fee on a ticket and I cringed at the thought of having to shell out a couple hundred extra bucks just to take an earlier flight. This is why I started this blog, and why I hope to provide the teens, college students, and just-getting-started-out miles and points junkies an outlet for sharing thoughts, and for me to give you the strategies that will help you succeed.

I’ll also be posting trip reviews, credit card reviews, and other helpful posts that I hope you find useful. Kick the tires around and let me know what you think!
