Save your boarding passes! They’re worth money!

Yesterday, Randy Petersen, the “Godfather” of frequent flyer miles announced a great initiative to put to use your boarding passes. Yep, that’s right. Those pesky pieces of paper that accumulate in your pocket are worth money!

Now, through October 31, take a picture of your boarding pass and post it to Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #flyforpink and BoardingArea, Milepoint and Frequent Traveler University will donate .50 cents to a cancer research foundation, up to $10,000. Wow! So…by simply sharing your boarding pass – whether electronic or paper – you’ll be helping to defeat cancer. I knew there was a worthy reason to travel so much! 🙂
