One of the best Hyatt Regency Clubs I’ve been to!

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, I was a bit disappointed by the room…however, had an awesome experience at the Regency Club on the ground floor. It’s one of the best I’ve been to, and access is complimentary for Hyatt Diamond members.

The lounge is open all day, and offers breakfast in the morning and heavy appetizers in the evening.

Inside was a large open area with a fair amount of seating.

I really enjoyed the table in the middle, since I was able to work on my laptop and also enjoy the food on offering.

There was a computer area where you could surf the internet, and print documents.

In the off-hours of the club, there was a selection of delicious cookies. I had like 10 of the chocolate chip cookies…don’t judge.

By the main entrance was a beverage station complete with complimentary sodas, bottled water and coffee.

In the morning, a full breakfast buffet was offered. There was a selection of orange, grapefruit and guava juices.

There was also a decent selection of breads, danishes and muffins. This area was also host to the bar (cash) during the evening appetizer hours.

On hand was also a selection of fresh fruit, oatmeal, meats and cheeses.

By far the best thing on offering was the Eggs Benedict with crabmeat. It was simply delicious, and very high-end for a Hyatt Regency Club.

During the evening, heavy hoers d’ oeuvres were served.

There were lots of fresh vegetables, dips, meats, cheeses and breads.

There was organic shrimp ceviche, grilled chicken, and vegetable puff pastries.

After a bit, the club attendant replaced the vegetable puffs with a delicious filet mignon.

As you can see, I made the most of my time and had dinner.

This was by far one of the best Hyatt Regency Clubs I’ve been to, and I think they did an outstanding job on the food, and service, too. There was an attendant manning the club, and she was busy cleaning, serving food, offering drinks and also cleaning up leftover plates and such.

Well done, Hyatt!

Awesome. I have to say, though, that I am just wrapping up a 3-night stay at the Vancouver Hyatt Regency (my first Diamond stay) and the Club here (on floor 29, with killer views) is very, very nice, with great service. The evening spread doesn’t quite compare to the one you describe, but it was quite good and enough for an evening meal. This hotel is also in a great location for anyone visiting Vancouver, BC.

Did I miss them or are there no windows in the club? The food sure looked nice for a RC, but it looked rather cave like.
