Double AA Business Extra Points on New Route

December 12, 2014 by James Larounis Leave a Comment

Get award booking help and personalized travel assistance for as little as $1 a month!

American has recently launched a new route from Atlanta to New York’s La Guardia airport, directly competing with Delta for the business traveller-heavy route. They’ll operate three daily nonstop flights, and to celebrate the start of this, they’re offering double AA Business Extra points.

If you don’t have a Business Extra account, create one. You can have one as a sole business, and you’ll accumulate Business Extra points in addition to AAdvantage miles for every mile flown. Essentially, you earn “double” points and miles, so it’s a win-win for you as the traveler, and you can later redeem those Business Extra points for free upgrades, flights and more.

Details of the offer are below.

Beginning January 6, 2015, travelers will have more options when traveling between Atlanta and New York. We’re launching daily, nonstop flights between Hartsfield‑Jackson Atlanta International (ATL) and New York LaGuardia (LGA).

Convenient options for your travelers

  • Daily flight options – with three daily, nonstop flights, travelers will have the flexibility they need to make the most of their travel plans.
  • Admirals Club® lounges – travelers can relax before or after their flight in our Admirals Club lounges in LGA or ATL, featuring complimentary Wi‑Fi, light snacks and beverages, charging stations and more. Visit aa.com/admiralsclub for eligibility information.
  • Experience the ease of a convenient gate location in Concourse T and dedicated baggage claim at ATL. Travelers don’t need to take a train, and can enjoy convenient access to parking and customer pick up.

Earn double points until February 28, 2015!

Starting January 6, 2015, earn double Business Extra points when you travel on American between Atlanta and New York. Simply register using promotion code NYATL14 and travel between January 6, and February 28, 2015 to earn double bonus points every time you fly.
