Free tacos for a month! No, really.

I try to keep my postings about travel, and related topics, but I’m also a big fan of food…especially when its free. Unfortunately, I can admit to several cravings lately for a certain fast food Mexican restaurant…

Taco Bell is giving away free tacos for the next month, and it’s rather simple to get one! The free taco will be the Doritos Locos Taco, where the shell is a giant Dorito chip.

In order to get one of these tasty, and now free, treats, you need to place an order using Taco Bell’s mobile app. In return, you’ll receive 1 taco…but, be warned, that there’s only 1 million freebies for offer. I’m sure some of you will find a way to game this. 🙂

If you think you’re the only one who’s downloading the app, think again. 1.4 million downloads have occurred since October. Taco Bell hasn’t reported a minimum or qualified order using the app, so for now, it appears “game on.” Interestingly, they’ve sold 1 billion Doritos Locos tacos since their creation, so it’s obviously a popular item.
